Jane Ann (Karrmann) Hensel

Jane Ann (Karrmann) Hensel passed away on October 9, 2021, at the age of 90.  Jane was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 23, 1930 to parents, Edward M. and Dorothy (Ramsay) Karrmann.  She graduated from Shortridge High School and Indiana University (Bloomington).  During her career, Jane worked as a Hotel Auditor for Quality Inn and Stouffers Inn.  She also worked for the Beck Company for many years.  Jane was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.  She loved playing bridge and was a member of many card groups throughout her life.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dorothy Karrmann; brother, Edward Ramsay Karrmann; son, Stephen Michael Hensel; and brother-in-law, Thomas Hensel.

Jane is survived by her children: Diane M. Hensel, Mark A. Hensel (Deborah), and Christopher R. Hensel; daughter-in-law, Susan Hensel; and sister-in-law, Elaine Hensel.

Friends may call from 4pm until 8pm, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan-Broad Ripple (1305 Broad Ripple Avenue, Indianapolis).  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 14^th at Christ the King Catholic Church (5884 Crittenden Avenue, Indianapolis).  Burial will follow services in Washington Park East Cemetery.
