Jamie Lee Short

Jamie Lee Short, 27, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 19, 2018.  She was born on October 21, 1990 in Indianapolis to Charles P. and Brenda A. (Sizemore) Short.

Jamie graduated with honors from Lawrence Central High School in 2009.  Following her graduation, she was able to work full time, support her family and put herself through school.  Jamie completed her Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy from Brown Mackie College in 2015.  Jamie enjoyed spending time outdoors; and loved the time she had with family and friends.

She is survived by her parents, Chuck and Brenda short; sister, Pamela (Josh) Wisdom; daughter, Peyton LeMaster; maternal grandparents, Richard and Joella Sizemore.  Jamie is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins; along with friend, Zach LeMaster and his extended family.  She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John D. and Florence E. Short.

Visitation for Jamie will be held at Church of the Living Water, 133 S. Post Road, Indianapolis, on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 11am – 2pm, with funeral services immediately following.  Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to the family to help support Jamie’s daughter, Peyton.  Friends are invited to leave online condolences for the family at www.flannerbuchanan.com.  Arrangements entrusted to Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East.
