James Terry Sowers
80, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on February 11, 2023. James was born on April 28, 1942, in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Myrtie and Leslie Sowers. He was retried from Burnett Bindford Lumber Company. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Wilma “Billie” Sowers; daughters, Sheila Dyan and Vicky L. Sowers; grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew, Sabrina, Dylan and Adam; six great grandchildren; sister, Loyce Higdon; brother, Kenneth Sowers and several nieces and nephews and extended family. Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2023, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Monday, February 20, 2023, at 2 pm at Hatcher & Sadler Funeral Home, Glasgow, Kentucky. Burial will follow at Glasgow Cemetery.
