James Michael Patrick Puckett

James “Mike” Puckett, 34, Indianapolis, passed away May 18, 2017. He was born March 28, 1983, in Indianapolis.

Mike attended Lawrence North High School. He was passionate about music and writing, but his pride and joy were his three children.

He is survived by his father Michael (Patty) Puckett; mother, Barbara Puckett; three children, Hayden Lawrence, Carson Zane, and London Marie; sister, Jenawae (Jesse) Cook; step-sister, Kellie Allen; grandmothers, Dixie Pauline Sheridan and Jo Schmidt; aunts and uncle, Jim (Tami) Schmidt and Pam Kerr; and cousins, Madeline Kerr and Tina Young. He was preceded in passing by his grandfather, Jim Schmidt.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or to The James Michael Patrick Puckett Memorial Fund. Contributions may be forwarded to the funeral home.
