Dr. James K. Terry, Jr., of Brownsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at the age of 88.
James was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 5, 1931 to James K. Terry, Sr. and Elsie (Traber) Terry.
He received his Doctorate degree in Veterinary Science from Auburn University and became a Veterinarian inspector for the US Department of Agriculture. James married Adelaide, and from this union, four children were born; Patrick, Phillip, Jeanne, and Carolyn.
James was an avid member of St. Malachy Catholic Church in Brownsburg; other memberships included the Southern Club in Indianapolis, the Knights of Columbus, the American Veterinarian Medical Association, and the Tennessee Veterinarian Medical Association.
James was preceded in death by: his wife, Adelaide C. Terry; parents, James and Elsie Terry; son, Phillip Lee Terry, and daughter Carolyn M. Terry; and brothers, Warren, Gene P., and Robert B. Terry.
He leaves behind: his son, Patrick V. Terry, and daughter Jeanne Plummer; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of many other relatives and friends.
