James "Jim" Ole Olson

James Ole Olson, 85 of Indianapolis died Wednesday October 19, 2022.

A Memorial Gathering will be Wednesday October 26 from 3-4:30 pm with a Celebration of Life at 4:30pm at the Flanner Buchanan-Zionsville Funeral Center in Zionsville, Indiana.

Native of Lincoln, NE, James was born to the late Ray and Anne Olson of Lincoln, NE. James Graduated from Nebraska University in Agronomy and was a life long Husker fan. He always enjoyed rooting on the Huskers Football team. James worked for Bayer as a Field Researcher for over 25 years. James was a cancer survivor and was a model of resilience surviving for over 30 years. He enjoyed walking, swimming and farming. He is survived by his former wife Karen Olson who was by his side in times of need until the end. James’ surviving children Stacy Olson-Cholvin, and David Olson, and Grand-Child Tyler Olson.
