James Zdobylak

James “Jim” Joseph Zdobylak, age 60, of Indianapolis, passed away August 20, 2017. He was born on July 31, 1957 in Gary, Indiana as the son of John and Stella (Frances) Zdobylak. He served in the US Air Force from 1976 to 1978. He married Cora (Castillo) on July 15, 1980.

Jim worked as a machinist for Raytheon for many years. He loved stargazing, going to sporting events and attending concerts with his wife.

Jim will be lovingly missed by his wife, Cora Zdobylak; daughter, Nicole Marie (Will) Rubia; brother, Andrew Zdobylak; and sisters and brother in law, Dolores Castillo and Adelaida and Raymond Wilson. Jim was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 11am-12pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12pm, also at the funeral center.
