James (Jim) Joseph Kaim, 61 of Westfield, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Jim was born January 8, 1961 in Indianapolis to the late Joe A. Kaim and Joan T. Douglas.
Jim was a dedicated family man, the best husband, the best father, and the best grandfather. He loved nothing more than to be at home with his family and spend all day at his pool.
Jim graduated Howe High School in 1979 and earned an Associate Degree from the Community College of the Air Force. He was a dedicated employee to Ford in Indianapolis for 5 years, was a corporate pilot for 15 years, and Jim honorably served our country and retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20+ years of service. Jim accomplished all his life’s goals, and lived life to the fullest in every way.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 12th from 5pm to 10pm at the South Harbour Clubhouse, located at 1156 South Harbour Drive in Noblesville, IN. If attending, Jim would prefer everyone to wear casual clothing and be comfortable.
Jim is survived by his wife, Sheri Kaim; children, Stephanie (Michael) Bledsoe and their children Miranda and John Michael, Michael (Adrienne) Kaim and their children Isabella, Madilyn, James, Jonathan and Jordyn, Nicole (James) Metzner and their child Logan, Matthew (Kierstin) Kaim; siblings, Jennifer Kaim and Julia Porter; father-in-law, Thomas Lakin; several sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews who adored him. He was preceded in death by his second father, Phillip Douglas, sister-in-law, Scarlet Ammerman and mother-in-law, Judith Lakin.
