James ( Jim ) E. LaFollette, 65 passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 21, 2020. Jim was a graduate of North Central High School and Indiana University, serving at both schools in the ROTC Cadet Program. After graduating from IU, Jim enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve Program serving his country. Jim was a true marksman. Jim loved the Bob and Tom Show on Q 95, he was always able to quote his favorite lines. Jim loved everything about the Three Stooges, as well as watching every episode as many times as he could. Being an avid reader his entire life, his favorite book subjects were World and US history. Jim had a passion for music, especially collecting records from rock and roll to country artists. Jim was a 30-year employee of the Indiana Department of Corrections. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian F. LaFollette and Elizabeth LaFollette Cooprider. Jim is survived by his brother William (Leanne) LaFollette, Niece, Adrienne(Travis) Merrick. Graveside services at Crown Hill Cemetery for the immediate family are forthcoming. Jim would like to be remembered as a friend to many and an enemy to few.
