James "Jim" C. Adams

James “Jim” Christopher Adams, 47 of Indianapolis, passed away on November 5, 2018. He was born on May 17, 1971 to James Adams Jr. and Rosemary Adams.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, James Adams Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Adams; his daughter, Josephine “Josie” Adams; and his brother, Gregory Adams.

Jim graduated from Speedway High School in 1989. He received a Bachelors of Science degree from Indiana University. He was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and Millersville Masonic Lodge #126. He volunteered at Second Helpings and worked at voting polls for many years.

Jim was a huge IU fan, who enjoyed IRL racing and golfing. He especially loved spending time with his family and taking his daughter, Josie, on many different outings; Indy 500, Catholic festivals, bike rides to the park and along the Monon, and different home shows. Jim owned his own computer consulting company and was a home investor. Jim was an avid history buff, and loved following politics.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan-Speedway, 2950 N. High School Rd., from 2pm-6pm. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, November 12, 2018 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th St., at 11am.
