James "Jim" Jarrett

Mr. James “Jim” Jarrett, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away July 6th, 2024. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 14th, 1951.

Jim grew up in Cincinnati.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, serving mostly in Intelligence. He continued his service in the military until he retired.

Jim married Joan “Lee” LaPrell. They shared 11 wonderful years together.

Jim was a strong, loving gentleman. He loved to travel, especially to Hawaii, where he and Lee spent many vacations, and were married! He was an avid reader and loved photography.

Jim is survived by his wife, Lee Jarrett; his sons Larry Jarrett (Lisa) Son Brian Jarrett (heather) step Daughter DeWitt Mahanay, Grandkids Caleb, Micah, Matthew Jarrett, Tylan Jarrett, Aiden Jarrett, Emily Jarrett, Jordan Jarret, Great Grandchildren Zyla Jarrett, Emma Jarrett, Eli and Max Jarret.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
