James Earl Garman
62, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at his home. James was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 8, 1955 to parents, Donald and Ruby (Brown) Garman. He served his country honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War. James attended Oakland City College. During his career, he worked as a machinist most recently for CTS and previously at Victor Dana. James was a member of Saracens, was an avid reader, enjoyed firearms, blacksmithing- making knives and armor, and many role-playing games.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Ruby and one sister, Cathy.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia Lynn (Carter) Garman; daughter, Melissa; sons: Matthew (wife, Laura) and Marcus (wife, Sarah); grandchildren: Lane, Mason, Piper, Kaitlyn, and Eternity; and siblings: Eric, Kevin, Marcus, Tom, Lori, Vicki, Julie and Syndi.
Friends and family may call from 4pm until 6pm on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Flanner Buchanan- Memorial Park. Burial will take place at a later time in Memorial Park Cemetery.
