James E. Hall

James E. Hall, 78 of Carmel, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 26, 2022, surrounded by his family.  Jim was born August 1, 1944, in Tulsa, OK to the late Leslie J., Jr. and Norma M. Like. After graduating from Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa, OK., he had a successful career at Johnson & Johnson in their consumer sales division for 32 years winning multiple awards before retiring in 2001.  Jim was a member of Carmel United Methodist Church.

Jim married the love of his life Andra L. Hall who proceeded him in death.  He is survived by his three children, Jaymie R. (husband, Eric) Bailey, Kristen M. (husband, Patrick) Murray, Brent A. (wife, Stephanie) Hall; grandchildren, Jay and James Bailey, Alexandra Hall; great grandchildren, Olivia and Rowan Bailey; sister, Lesta Bogue; brother, Tom L. (wife Sally) Hall; Nephews, Andrew, Charles and Christopher Shelley; Nieces, Buffie Bogue and Brandi Jackson.

Jim loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Jim had a passion for dancing and music collecting 45 rpm vinyl records from the age of 12.  He was also an avid race car fan.  Sprint cars, dirt tracks, meeting drivers, learning about the sport in all facets and attended his first Indianapolis 500 in 1974.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 1:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 3 at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel.
