James Charles D Dupler, 21, Zionsville, went to be with our Lord on October 20, 2016. He was born July 14, 1995 in Indianapolis to Jim and Elaine (Campbell) Dupler. James attended elementary school at Traders Point Christian Academy and was a 2014 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Zionsville Community High School where he was a National Merit Scholar. James excelled in complex mathematics and could solve a Rubix cube in less than two minutes. He participated in football, wrestling, and lacrosse. James was a graduate of the Eleven Fifty Academy and served as their computer programming apprentice. He attended Indiana University studying Computer Science as a freshman, then transferred to Purdue University where he currently attended. James was a member of Traders Point Christian Church, where he was active in the youth ministry and the special needs program. He loved life and loved Jesus even more. James read his Bible daily, enjoyed learning about Christ, and was devout in his faith and discipleship. James was musically talented playing the guitar, piano, and mountain dulcimer by ear, and also had an incredible voice. He had a hobby of collecting old vinyl and had an extensive collection of many genre. He loved traveling, especially going to Montana, cattle ranching in the summers and skiing there in the winters. James also enjoyed golfing with family and friends, camping with “the Crew”, and cooking. He was an avid reader, often reading five books concurrently. In his free time, he enjoyed cruising in his 1969 Chevy Impala, which he and his father were restoring. Of all things though, James was most passionate about spending time with family in both Indiana and Kentucky. In his 21 years, James lived life to the fullest. He is survived by his parents, Dr. James Forrest Dupler and Dr. Elaine Dee Dupler; his brother, Robert Joseph D Dupler; his grandparents, Mr. I. D. and Louise Campbell, and Dr. Lee and Carol Dupler; his aunts and uncles, Rob and Peggy Campbell, Dr. John and Laura Neeb, MGySgt Javier and Diane Gonzalez, and Shane and Jeanne McMains; and numerous cousins. A Celebration of Life Service for James will be held on Friday, October 28 at 1 PM at Traders Point Christian Church, 6590 S. Indianapolis Road, Whitestown, IN. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 27 from 2-8 PM at Traders Point Christian Church. Memorial gifts may be made to Traders Point Christian Academy, 6600 S.
