Jake C. Schweiger

Jake K. Schweiger, 85 of Carmel, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023.  Jake was born October 9, 1937 in Lefor, ND to the late Jacob and Elizabeth Schweiger.  Jake had been a heavy equipment mechanic for 45 years.  He retired from Glenn Rehbein Excavating, Inc., in Minneapolis.  He had previously worked for Buesing Brothers Trucking, Long Lake MN.

Family and friends are invited to gather form 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Thursday, February 9 at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, where a funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm.

Jake is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carol; children, Jeff (wife, Wanza) Schweiger, Rochelle Schweiger, Kevin (wife, Diane) Schweiger, Brenda Pettit and Brian Schweiger; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Farnsworth and Betty Todd.  He was preceded in death by his brother, John Schweiger.
