Jacqueline M. Lyon

Jacqueline “Jackie” M Lyon died Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the age of 85. She died peacefully surrounded by love and family members in her home.

She leaves her husband Carlos “Corby” M Lyon, her brother Lawrence March, her children Janice Lyon, Bruce Lyon, Kurt Lyon (Paula), Laura Lyon-Fuller, Craig Lyon (Dawne), Eric Lyon and thirteen grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond Washburn March and Blanche Louise March; siblings Donald March, Juanita Lawrence, Dean March, Barbara Jean Edwards, Patricia Kuhns, Richard March, daughter in law, Karen Stein Lyon, and grandson Corbin Robert Lyon.

Born in Decatur, IL February 3, 1932 to Raymond and Blanche March. [information about her childhood and young adulthood]. She married her high school sweetheart Carlos M Lyon on August 28, 1952.

Her family knew Jackie for her passion for life and her dedication. She was seen at her best surrounded by laughter of the ones she loved. Jackie could be described as the color in the paint on the canvas of life, her presence will be missed every day.

A private memorial and graveside service will be held on a later date at Fairlawn Cemetery in Decatur, Illinois.
