Of Indianapolis, passed away December 22, 2016. Jackie was born March 11, 1932 in Flint, MI, the daughter of the late Bruce and Ruby Hanneman, with sisters Joan (Higgins), Jane (Keller), and Judy (McBeain). Jackie graduated from Ben Davis High School, where she was very active in class plays, was runner-up in the Indiana High School State Speech contest, and won the National Cherry Pie contest which awarded her a trip to Washington DC and visit to the White House. Jackie was very active in supporting her children’s activities including serving as PTA President, volunteer support for Krannert YMCA Swim Team, and Youth Teacher at Ben Davis Christian Church (where she and Don were members since 1954). Jackie was known by her family and friends for her energy, optimism, encouragement, and smile.She is survived by Don, her husband of 65 years, daughter: Cindy (John) Webb, and sons Mike (Marcia) and Bruce (Jill), 6 grandchildren (Matt Webb, Adam (Alisha) Webb, Lindsay (Nick) Dezelan, Kelsey (Lance) Worland, Hannah Young, and Rachel Young) and 2 great granddaughters (Alaina Webb, and Lillian Worland).
Funeral services will held Monday December 26th at 2:00pm at Ben Davis Independent Christian Church, 701 S. High School Rd. Indianapolis 46241 with visitation from 12 noon until the time of the services.
