Jaclyn Anna (Zehme) Sigmon, 43, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, after losing her brave battle with a long illness.
Jaclyn was born on October 5, 1980, in Ft. Madison, Iowa. She graduated from Richmond, Indiana High School and received a BS from Indiana State University in Occupational Safety and Health. She had a very successful career, becoming a Certified Safety Professional and employed as Business Development Manager at ATC, Account Manager at Envelop Group and finally Senior Manager of Development of SMC USA.
Jaclyn loved life and her laugh was contagious to everyone who knew her. She loved traveling and especially loved the ocean. The beach was her favorite vacation spot. She had an unstoppable adventurous spirit, always ready to try something new and exciting.
Jaclyn had a huge heart and her passion for life carried over to her family. She was an exemplary wife to JP and mother to her children Brody and Isabelle. She planned exciting trips all over the country and even out of the country for every birthday and school break. She made sure to include her father and stepmother and brother and sister-in-law in some of the trips for expanded family fun. Great family memories were made.
Jaclyn is survived by her husband, JP Sigmon, and children, Brody Sigmon and Isabelle Sigmon, her father and stepmother, Chuck and Karen Zehme, her mother-in-law, Brenda Frederickson, mother and stepfather, Gail and Gerald Dorna, her brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Katie Zehme, her Aunt Karin and Uncle Dennis Higgins, Uncle Kirk and Aunt Nicki Zehme, Uncle Dave and Aunt Luanne Philipp, Uncle Ed Philipp and Uncle Ross Philipp. She has step brothers and step sisters and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jaclyn was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Lenora Zehme, and Marvin and Marion Philipp.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Cornerstone Lutheran Church, 13450 E. 116th Street, Fishers, Indiana. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. and the service will begin at 2:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for assistance with medical bills would be appreciated.
