Jack W. Templeton

Jack W. Templeton, 90 of Fishers, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023. Jack was born September 19, 1932 in Linton, IN to the late Harold and Vennetta Templeton.

Jack worked as a store manager for G. C. Murphy for 27 years. Later, he was owner-operator of 12 Amoco service stations around Indianapolis. He retired in 2001 after 23 years.

Jack was an active member of Carmel United Methodist Church for 45 years. He volunteered many hours at the church working in its gardens and on its landscaping. Jack was also a Master Gardner through Purdue Extension.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm Friday, January 13 at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, where a funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm. Burial will follow in Carmel Cemetery.

Jack is survived by his wife of 72 years, Ernestine; sons, Steven W. (wife, Marlene) and Mark W. (wife, Regina) Templeton; grandchildren, Steven W. Templeton, Talena (husband, Jeff) Stemerick, and Katie Templeton; great grandchildren, Jackson and Everett Stemerick, Parker, Eli, and Charlie Johnson; sister, Sharon Smoot.
