Jack Louis Robinson, age 64, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018. A native of Decatur, IN, he was a graduate of Bellmont Senior High School. He went on to graduate from Lincoln Technical Institute and Ivy Tech.
Jack was a vibrant and active force of light to his family and friends. He was a fiercely loyal and supportive friend, and a dependable and generous caretaker. Jack never turned down an adventure and was an enthusiastic cyclist and a lover of all things auto, especially classic cars.
Jack is survived by his partner, Beverly Balash; his children in love, Samantha and Spencer; his grandson in love, Silas; his siblings, Sheryl Hamstra (Dick), Vicki Frazier-Sapp (Kenneth), Meg Magnan (Tom), John Kocher, and Mary Dygert (Donna); his nieces and nephews: James Hamstra (Miki), Joey Hamstra (Nica), Katie Votolato (Kelly), Ivy Wright (Brodie), Josie Haspel (Dan), Sam Magnan, and Lynsey Schwartz (CJ); great nieces and nephews: Will, Zach and Sam Hamstra, Eliot and RuthAnn Solomon-Hamstra, Caroline Votolato, George Wright, Ellie and Zach Haspel, and Fiona Schwartz; and many more special family members and friends.
A memorial service in celebration of Jack’s life will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, August 4th at North United Methodist Church (3808 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis). Friends and family will gather in the church parlor following the service until 4pm.
