Jack Abraham Joseph, Sr., 80, of Indianapolis passed away May 12, 2023. He was born March 17, 1943, in Indianapolis, the son of the late Abraham and Wanda (Tanoos) Joseph. He was a graduate of North Central High School. Jack completed his undergraduate and master’s degrees at Indiana State University, where he met his wife Bobbieann as a freshman. Jack began his career teaching school and then worked for many years with the Department of Health and Human Services as an Instructor. He was a member of St. George Orthodox Church which was originally co-founded on the east side of Indianapolis by his father Abraham Joseph. His greatest passions were spending time with his family, watching movies, and dancing and listening to music (especially Elvis). He attended every hafli he could. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Bobbieann (Wambach) Joseph; three children, Teresa Joseph, Jack Jr. (Beth) Joseph, and Tammy (Rick) Streb; 4 grandchildren, Julia (Victor) Pantoja, Alexis Streb, and Clara and John Joseph; and 1 great-grandson, Aziel Pantoja. Jack is also survived by a sister, Judy Hanna. Memorial contributions may be directed to the church.
