Ina "Louise" Lee

Ina Louise Lee, 72, of Oaklandon, IN, went home on January 20, 2020. She was born to the late Everett and Lola Morris Morgan in Monticello, KY on November 28, 1947.

After graduating from Lawrence Central High School in 1965, Louise worked as an executive secretary at Engineering Research where she met her husband, Lonnie Lee. Together they wed on November 1^st, 1969 and, celebrated their 50^th Anniversary just 2 months ago. They were privileged to have two adoring daughters, Kimberly and Amy.

Louise was a loving wife to Lonnie, dedicated and caring mom to Kim & Amy and, an incredible Mamaw to Kailee & Mason. She was a loyal and giving sister, aunt and friend to many. “Lou” was known for her joyful and loving disposition, unselfish nature and, big heart for giving to others. Her loving heart touched so many. She brought kindness and understanding to everyone she met. For nearly 40 years, she was incredibly dedicated to her work as “The Lunch Lady” at Oaklandon Elementary School. She loved and always remembered all of the kids from her many years at the school. She loved gardening. Her beautiful yard showcased all of her carefully tended flowers. She had the ability to make anything grow into something beautiful. You could usually find Lou swinging on her front porch, especially when it was raining and, usually surrounded by loved ones. She loved to wave and talk to the neighbors and, kids passing by. She will be dearly missed by so many who were fortunate to share in her life and light.

Ina Louise is survived by her husband of 50 years, Lonnie R. Lee; daughters, Kimberly Bray and Amy (Rob) Metz; grandchildren, Kailee Bray, Mason Armstrong, and Cash Metz; brother, Frank (Syndi) Morgan; and sisters, Beverly (Jerry) Reighley and Lisa Lugar (Keith Henson); and, many beloved nieces and nephews.

Louise is preceded in death by her mother, Lola Morgan; father, Everett Morgan; step-mother, Willa Dean Morgan; father-in-law, Dave Lee; and, mother-in-law, Lillian Lee.

Visitation will be held at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229, on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 4PM-8PM. Funeral services will be held the following day, Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1PM with burial to follow at Old Oaklandon Cemetery.
