Imogene Lloyd, a beloved resident of Hardee County, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8, 2023, with her loving husband by her side in Sebring, FL. Imogene had been a cherished member of the community since 1997 when she relocated from Kentucky. She was an active member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Wauchula, FL, where she found solace and strength in her faith.
Imogene had a successful career in the sales department at Motorola, where she made a lasting impact. Additionally, she dedicated her time and energy as the activities director for Brookside Bluff and was an esteemed member of the St. Michael's Ladies Auxiliary. Imogene's commitment to serving others was evident in all aspects of her life.
Imogene was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her son Anthony Lloyd, and daughter Tina Cartwright. Although her absence is deeply felt, her memory lives on through her loving husband, Charles R. Lloyd, and her children: Timothy Crabtree of Homosassa, FL; Charles Lloyd Jr. of Tarpon Springs, FL; Ronald Lloyd of Greenwood, IN; Robert Lloyd of Indianapolis, IN; Theresa Purdy and her husband George of Franklin, IN; and Tammie Hardgrove and her husband Ryan of San Antonio, TX.
Imogene's legacy extends to her 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, who will always cherish the memories they shared with their beloved grandmother. Her warmth, love, and guidance will forever be treasured by her family and friends.
During this difficult time, may the memories of Imogene Lloyd bring comfort and peace to all who knew and loved her.
