Imogene Bennett

Imogene Bennett, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017. She was born on December 7, 1931 in Lotto Creek, Kentucky to the late Cova and Shirley (Boggs) Everidge. She worked as a nursing coordinator for Winona Hospital for over 40 years. Imogene enjoyed shopping and reading, and was an avid gardener. Imogene was married on September 13, 1958 to Jack Bennett; they celebrated 48 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2006. Imogene is survived by her sons, Jeff (Jodi) Bennett and David (Kristi) Bennett; grandchildren, Joshua (Rachel) Bennett, Jonathan Bennett, Alexia (Richard) Loyal, Blake (Emma) Bennett; great-grandchildren, Leighton and Beckett Loyal. Imogene is also survived by siblings, Hillis Everidge, Eldon Everidge, Charles Everidge, Bobby Everidge, Yvonne Everidge. Funeral services for Mrs. Bennett will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11:30am at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
