Ilsemarie Schneider, of Fishers, passed away on April 25, 2022 at the young age of 69, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Ilsemarie “Ilse”, was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. She was born to Lothar and Christel (Rach) Holtz on June 22, 1952 in Holzhaisen, Germany.
After graduating from University with her degree in nutrition, she married the love of her life, Louis G. Schneider, and they moved from Germany to the United States. Ilse was proud of her husband and the life they created while he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. She loved traveling the world and spending time by the ocean. Together they had two daughters, Susan and Kathrine.
Ilse loved spending time in the kitchen, creating meals for her family, hosting dinner parties, and creating extravagant desserts. She enjoyed listening to and sharing her favorite music. She loved German music to keep her in touch with her heritage and music that was deemed a little inappropriate, i.e. Chuck Berry’s “My Ding – a – Ling” song! She was always looking for her next laugh.
Ilsemarie was proceeded in death by her parents and husband of 42 years, Louis Gregory Schneider.
Survivors include her children, Susan (Chris) Wease, Kathrine (Andy) Beebe, grandchildren, Kayla, Ryan, Ethan, Brenden, and Cole, her cats, Daisy and Lola, sisters, Sigrun (Hans) Wrieden, and Irmentraud (Gehard) Lach.
