Helga W Spector

Helga W. (Schlagel) (Hofmann) Spector, 89 of Indianapolis, passed away on April 20, 2018. She was born on May 27, 1928 in Neustadt, Germany to the late Martin and Frieda Wenk.

Helga became a citizen of the United States on April 1, 1955. She loved gambling, playing cards with friends, traveling, crocheting, and gardening.

She was the mother of Robert (Angie) Schlagel, Karen Davison, Michael (Barbara) Schlagel, Patricia (Ben) Adair, Kevin (Vicki) Hofmann, and her step daughter, Suzanne Hawkins. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.

She was preceded in passing by her parents, and her late husband, Joseph Spector in 2010.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan-Speedway, 2950 N. High School Rd., from 5PM until 7PM. The service will immediately follow at 7PM. There will be a private entombment at West Ridge Park Cemetery.
