Helena May Howard, 88, of Noblesville, IN, passed away January 26, 2020. She was born in Indianapolis to Ted and Marjorie King on July 5, 1931, one of ten children. She was a resident of Florida’s Anna Maria Island for 16 years. She managed cafeterias for 35 years.
Helena was a wonderful homemaker and mother. Her passion was cooking and especially baking. She showed her love for people by baking delicious treats for them. She loved to travel, play cards and was an excellent seamstress.
She is survived by her children Peggy Johnson, James R. Howard, and April Adams; her grandchildren Melisa Phillips, Myra Church, Marueen Keiner, Natalie Church, Cody Dash, Joy Howard, Ross Hart and Dakota Hart; and seven great grandchildren.
Helena is preceded in death by her husband James S. Howard. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital.
A gathering for visitation and service will be held Friday, March 6, 2020, beginning at 1:00pm, service at 2:30pm at Flanner Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Good Shepherd Chapel), and interment immediately following service.
