Helen R. Spencer

Helen R. Spencer, 93, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on March 23, 2023. She was born on October 31, 1929, in Akron, Ohio, to the late John and Susan Wisberger.

With heavy hearts we mourn the loss of a great jokester and wonderful lady.

Helen worked for Eli Lilly for 28 years as a private secretary.

Helen enjoyed traveling with her husband, Joe, and her friends. They took many bus trips to different towns and cities.

She also enjoyed cooking. Everyone loved her deviled eggs. Most times they were half gone before the dinner even started.

She also loved playing golf. Her shots may not have gone far, but they went straight.

Helen was loved a cherished by her husband, Joe; her brother and sister, Richard Wisberger and Donna Ford; and her children through marriage, Brenda (Tony) and Joey (Anthony).
