Helen L. Harbin

Helen L Harbin, age 83, passed peacefully on Tuesday September 19th, 2017. A lifelong Hoosier, she resided in Indianapolis. Daughter of Kerry and Marie Tatlock, Helen was raised in southern Indiana along with four brothers, Donald, Gerald, Robert and Melvin in Tampico. Preceded in death by her husband Joseph R Harbin, she was first and foremost a mother to her 3 children Kerry, Jill and Amy. Grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 2, she cherished her family and the multitude of friends made over a lifetime thru all that she did. It would be easier to list what she hasn’t done! She loved sewing, crafting and collecting. She would say, “ you can never have enough fabric” and much of that would be purple of course, as those who loved her knew it fit her personality and passion perfectly. We will honor her memory at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd West Drive on Saturday September 23, visitation beginning at 10 am, service at noon.
