Heidi J. Abrell

Heidi J. Abrell, 67 of Indianapolis, passed away September 27, 2017.

Heidi was born on June 25, 1950 in Indianapolis to the late Richard and Lilo Abrell. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service after working over 30 years. She loved cooking, baking, spending time with her grandkids and being together for family cookouts.

She leaves behind her children, Christopher Carstens, Staci Rude, Andrew Carstens; 6 grandkids; 1 great-grandkid; her brother, Mike Abrell; and ex-husband Walter Carstens.

A funeral service will take place 5:00pm on Monday, October 9, 2017 with visitation from 2:00-5:00pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East.
