Hector Gonzalez, 90, of Indianapolis passed away on February 12, 2021. He was born in Palmira, Colombia on May 20, 1930 to the late Adolfo Gonzalez and Elvia Ampudia Gonzalez. Hector was a skilled Civil Engineer in the electric industry. He successfully obtained a bachelor’s degree in his field of study attending colleges in both America and Colombia. Hector enjoyed being at peace with a cold Coca-Cola in his hand. He was brought tranquility and comfort through Mother Theresa, Baby Jesus, and angel depictions. Hector enjoyed Coca-Cola and his usual White Castle meal, but most importantly he loved his family. He will be missed sorely by all the lives he has touched as he was a light that changed many people’s lives.

Hector enjoyed collecting stamps and coins along with taking pictures of the environment. He loved beautiful views and could sit in front of sunset for hours. He was dedicated at everything he did throughout his life and career. Hector was a star in multiple people’s lives; especially his family’s lives. Hector lived his life to the fullest and ended his days with some of the people that loved him most. Throughout his life, he was known to be very generous, knowledgeable and a man of God. He will be missed dearly.

Hector is survived by his loving wife, Oneyda Esperanza Gonzalez; his children, Angie Walls, Francisco Gonzalez, Halbert Ramirez, Edward Ramirez and Aura Cristina Gonzalez and Sister Nelda Gonzalez. 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great grandchild.

Héctor González, de 90 años, de Indianápolis falleció el 12 de febrero de 2021. Nació en Palmira, Colombia el 20 de mayo de 1930 hijo del fallecido Adolfo González y Elvia Ampudia González. Héctor era un ingeniero civil calificado en la industria eléctrica. Obtuvo con éxito una licenciatura en su campo de estudio asistiendo a universidades tanto en Estados Unidos como en Colombia. Héctor disfrutaba estar en paz con una Coca-Cola fría en la mano. Recibió tranquilidad y consuelo a través de la Madre Teresa, el Niño Jesús y representaciones de ángeles. Héctor disfrutaba de su comida habitual de White Castle y sus noticias, pero lo más importante es que amaba a su familia. Todas las vidas que ha tocado lo extrañarán profundamente, ya que fue una luz que cambió la vida de muchas personas.

Héctor disfrutó coleccionando sellos y monedas, además de tomar fotografías del medio ambiente. Le encantaban las hermosas vistas y podía sentarse frente al atardecer durante horas. Se dedicó a lograr sus propositos su vida personal y carrera. Héctor fue una estrella en la vida de varias personas; especialmente la vida de su familia. Héctor vivió su vida al máximo y terminó sus días con algunas de las personas que más lo amaban. A lo largo de su vida, fue conocido por ser muy generoso, informado y un hombre de Dios. Lo extrañaremos mucho.

A Héctor le sobreviven su amada esposa, Oneyda Esperanza González; sus hijos, Angie Walls, Francisco González, Halbert Ramirez, Edward Ramirez y Aura Cristina Gonzalez y la hermana Nelda Gonzalez. 7 nietos y 1 bisnieto.
