Hazel Florence (Ward) Bingham Mosier, 81, of Plainfield, IN passed away March 25, 2021. She was born November 26, 1939 in Morgantown, Kentucky to the late Rainer and Earl Nellie (Miller) Ward. Hazel was a machine operator for Precision Piston Rings Co. for many years and after leaving there she worked in the cafeteria at Wayne Township Schools. She loved spending time with her family, chatting on the phone, cooking, watching cooking shows on tv to get that special recipe to make next. She also enjoyed going to the casino, watching soap operas and listening to country and blue grass music. Hazel was loved by many and will be missed by those who knew her. She is survived by her children, Garlon Ray (Sandy) Bingham, Barbara Ann (Ronnie) Cox, Frances (Jeff) Smith, Elizabeth “Dino” Hankins, Linda Gay (Richard) Collins, Bonnie Sue (Keith) Sullivan, Starla Rose (Larry) Bingham, 15 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, brother, Leon Ward and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands Johnny Ray Bingham and Cecil B. Mosier, son James William Bingham, grandson Garlon Casey Cox and sisters, Ruth and Cricket. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 11 AM at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township with visitation there from Tuesday, March 30, 2021 4-8 PM and Wednesday, March 31, 2021 10-11 AM.
