Harold Gene Edgecomb, Sr.

Harold Gene Edgecomb, Sr., 90, Indianapolis, IN/Fort Myers, FL, went home to be with his Lord July 16, 2023. He was born in East Gary, IN to Lee Edgecomb and Goldie M. Alexander Edgecomb. He lived most of his adult life in Indianapolis, IN then to Labelle, FL.  He was married to his loving wife for 50+ years until she passed in 2016, also his high school sweetheart.  He was a devoted family man of 6 children. A Korean War Vet and a very proud American.  He farmed on the family dairy farm until a back injury led him to years driving for Trailways.

Survivors include his younger sister Marty Edgecomb Fetla. His children Gene, Carol, Debbie, Mike and Pam.  He will be reunited in heaven with his wife Pat, his second son Ron and his brothers. He loved his family of 12 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

 

Visitation will be held from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday July 29th at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Good Shepherd Chapel), 9700 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis. Funeral services will begin there at 12:00 pm.
