Harold E. Mason

Harold E. Mason, 96 of Indianapolis died Jan 23, 2018. Harold was born December 13, 1921 in Indianapolis to the late Aaron and Amelia Mason. He was a veteran of the US Army and attended Butler University.

Harold and his friend co-owned E and M Texaco service station, where Harold worked as a mechanic. He later was a sales representative for Piston Service and Circle City.

Harold was an avid golfer and won several awards, along with awards in archery. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking and was a pretty good card player.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Friday, February 16, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Good Shepherd Chapel, with calling one hour prior to the service.

Harold was the widower of Mary Frances Mason. He is survived by his daughters, Jean West, Sandra Cassidy and Mary Lou Mason; grandchildren, Steven Cassidy and Melanie Allen; great grandchildren, Katie Lynn Allen and Kyle Allen. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Bill Mason, Eunice Wiese and Irene Mason.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Albert and Sara Rueben Senior and Community Resource Center.
