Harley Earl "Sarge" Bauer

Harley Earl “Sarge” Bauer, 98 of Indianapolis, IN passed away October 8, 2021. He was born November 13, 1922 in Newpointe, Indiana to the late William Henry and Anna(McHugh) Bauer. Harley was a career military man spending over 20 years in the U S Army. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Harley was loved by many and will be truly missed. He is survived by his children, David Bauer, Rebecca (Bruce) Maberry, Donald (Sheila) Bauer, grandchildren, Chad, Lucinda, Gretchen, Erica, Anthony, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wives, Mary Alice Jordan and Betty J. Bauer. Services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park with visitation there from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
