Gus J. Sansone

Gus J. Sansone of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on December 3, 2021 at the age of 84.

He was born December 9, 1936 in Bloomington, IN to the late Joseph and Edna Sansone.

He worked in Sales for Western Southern Insurance.  He then worked as Delivery Manager for Piazza Produce. Gus attended and graduated from Manual High School. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was an avid Indy 500 and Nascar race fan.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Sally D. Sansone; children Gus Sansone Toney, Rita Sansone (John), and Charles Sansone (Tracy); grandchildren Ashley (Frank) Daniel, Tyler (Morgan) Brittany, Natasha (Jim), Jacob (Kristina), Elijah, Austin (Lexi), Noah (Elizabeth), Avery (Jill), great-grandchildren Braelynn Belle, Isabelle, Cameron; brother Bert Sansone (Mary) and sister Jo Ann Sansone-Furgason; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Edna Sansone, son Phillip Sansone Toney; and brother-in-law Richard Furgason.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 13 from 1-3 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St, Indianapolis.  Funeral Services will be held Monday at 3 PM at the funeral home.  He will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery.
