Grover Frank Lohman

94, of New Palestine, IN, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017. Grover was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 20, 1923 to parents, Arthur R. and Nellie M. (Misamore) Lohman. He served his country honorably in the US Navy during WWII and during his career, he worked as an engineer with General Motors, retiring in 1988. Grover was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Anderson, IN; the American Legion Post 127; and the VFW Post 9650.

Grover is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Beatrice E. “Bea” (Elmore) Lohman; daughters, Nancy M. Smith (David) and Linda A. Hayes; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may call from 4pm until 8pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 and 10am until 11am, Thursday, October 26th at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Thursday at the funeral center. Burial will follow services in Memorial Park Cemetery, 9350 E. Washington St, Indianapolis.
