Gregory Lynn McAbee

Gregory Lynn McAbee, 58, of Westfield, Indiana was called home on January 29, 2022.  He passed peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. Greg was born on April 20, 1963 to Donald McAbee and the late Joan Harris.  He enlisted in the Navy as a young man and was awarded the Expedition Medal for his service. In October 2002, Greg married Kathy Bowman and they made their home in Westfield.  Greg was a devoted husband to Kathy and father to Amanda. He was employed as a System Manager for Motorola Solutions. Greg is survived by his loving wife Kathy and daughter Amanda;  brothers Jack Harris and Chad Harris; sisters Tonya (Steve) Eichenberger, Sarah (Allen) Hinkle, Trisha (Bill) Kroner, Linda (Chris) Lengle, Jennifer (Roger) Kirksey, Jackie Scott, Donna McAbee; and father Donald McAbee. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Harris and grandparents Lenny and Pearline McAbee. Visitation will be  Sunday, February 6^th, from 2 pm to 4 pm at Flanner Buchanan Funeral Home in Carmel, and Funeral Services will be Monday, February 7^th at 10 am.  Greg’s final resting place is Hamilton Memorial Park in Westfield.
