Grace Helen Stephenson

Grace Helen (Forehand) Stephenson, age 85 of Indianapolis, passed away on the evening of February 9, 2020. Grace was born on November 29, 1934 to the late Ruby Forehand and the late Rubey (Miller) Minton in Central City, Kentucky and was one of four children.

Grace married the love of her life and had three beautiful children. She was a proud Grandma and Great-Grandma and was affectionately known as, “Mimi”. She liked to pass her time by reading and praising Jesus. Grace was also a loyal County Employee for over 25 years. Her passing leaves an empty space in the hearts of her family and friends. She was truly loved.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Stephenson; and her son, Robbie Stephenson.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gayle Conley (John) and Lee Stephenson; her siblings, Patricia Cobb and Betty Curtis; her grandchildren, Chris Conley, Josh Conley, Katey Conley, Tyler Stephenson, Kyle Stephenson, and Riley Stephenson; her 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

All are welcome to attend a visitation for Grace on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at West Newton United Methodist Church from 12:30 to 2:30pm with a Funeral Service to immediately follow. She will be laid to rest with her late husband James at Floral Park Cemetery.
