Goldie DeLois Jordan

 Goldie DeLois Jordan, age 91 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, October 15, 2023.

 Lois was born on September 3, 1932 in Kentucky, a daughter of Honnel Luther Shreve and Mary Alice (Colvin) Shreve-Wheatley.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Walter Jordan III, daughter Tyla Adair, son Philip “Flip” Jordan, daughter-in-law Karen Jordan, and grandson Walter “J” Jordan V. 

Lois is survived by her eldest son Walter (Carol) Jordan IV, granddaughter Michon Jordan, grandsons Jeridan (Kaylie) Jordan, Jamian Jordan, Jalin (Laura) Jordan, Jacob (Mariah) Adair, Jordan Adair, and 7 great grand children. 

Lois loved to spend time laughing with her family, gardening, sewing, and traveling; however, the love for her husband withstood the test of time and their love story lives on through all who witnessed it.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, located at 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229.

Her funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM.

Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery where Lois will be laid to rest with her husband.
