Gloria Jean Middaugh

Gloria Jean Middaugh 70, of Indianapolis, passed away June 21, 2019. She was born on July 5, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana as the daughter of Harley and Beulah Steinbrook. Gloria was and will always be known as a loving and caring person with a giving heart. She had a love for animals, especially birds and dogs. She enjoyed being outside and gardening. The holidays were some of her favorite times of the year. Having the family together and cooking were very dear to her. Gloria worked as a prison security guard for 13 years where she won the award of Officer of the Year. Gloria was also a certified dietician. In her spare time, Gloria loved to watch scary movies, boxing, and the Colts. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Gloria is survived by her children: Sharon Crofts, Tommy Preston, Sandi Preston, Brian Middaugh, Penny Middaugh, Kevin Middaugh, Christopher Middaugh; siblings: Kenny, Terry, Billy, Mary, Patty; 14 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Fuzzy and Johnny. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at 12noon at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 734 N. Morgantown Road, Greenwood, IN 46142.
