Gloria J. Huntley

Gloria J Huntley born February 11, 1950, to Remell Huntley and Willie J Huntley in Indianapolis, Indiana. At a young age she accepted Christ and was baptized at Barnes United Methodist Church.
Gloria J Huntley completed her elementary and High School education in Indianapolis Public School System. She graduated in 1969 from Crispus Attucks High School where she was the Vice President of Girls League, secretary of Girls Glee, Choir, Boosters Club, English Club, Student Council and received the Home Economics Award.
Gloria J Huntley began her career at Super Value as a clerk until the business closed. Gloria was employed by the Indiana School for the Blind for over 30 years where she was a dedicated house parent loved by many. She recently celebrated her retirement May of 2018.
During High school she meet her soul mate Steven Calvin that she went on to have a loving relationship for over 30 years. She also enjoyed going to the movies, shopping, attending lunch with close friends and she was especially fond of spending time with her granddaughter Taylor.
After the unexpected loss of her youngest sister she was blessed with the role of motherhood to Tamika M Drake whom she had a doting relationship.
Gloria J Huntley was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Rainer Warner and two sisters, Barbara Huntley and Diane Huntley.
Gloria J Huntley joined her sisters on September 13, 2018, at the age of sixty-eight, seven months and two days.
Gloria J Huntley leaves to cherish her memory her soul mate, Steven Calvin; one daughter, Tamika M. Drake; granddaughter, Taylor M. Cantrell; loving brother, James H. Collins (Loretta); loving, sister Catherine A. Ford; two Goddaughters, Angela D. Walker and Yolanda J Bradford, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
