Glenn M. Williams
93, Indianapolis, passed away peacefully in the loving presence of his children on November 20, 2017. Glenn was born on March 18, 1924 to Lewis C. and Margaret A. (Johnson) Williams. He grew up near Brookside Park on the east side of Indianapolis, attended St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and School and Cathedral High School. At age 17, Glenn enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving as an Aviation Machinist Mate in both WWII and the Korean War. Following his service, he was employed by Capitol Litho Plate Service and Success, Inc as a lithographer. His wife, Patricia L. (Cullom) Williams and his teenage son, Andrew C. Williams, preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Catherine (Kenneth) Wahnsiedler, son Kerry (Cindy) Williams, and four granddaughters who were the light of his life: Lucy and Mary Rose Wahnsiedler and Cara and Lauren Williams. Friends and family may call between 4-8PM Tuesday, November 28th at Flanner Buchannan Washington Park North Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church, where he had been a member since 1967. Burial immediately following at Calvary Cemetery.
