Ginger Kay Kavanaugh passed away peacefully at home on July 2, 2022, after complication from a stroke. She was born July 26, 1953 in Indianapolis to Henry and Virginia Buckheister. She was a graduate of Indianapolis Warren Central High School and married Martin G. Kavanaugh on May 4th, 1974. They enjoyed 48 eventful years together. She loved being a stay at home mother during all the years her kids were in school. She loved cheering her boys on while playing hockey growing up. She delighted in spending time at her Florida condo with her children and grandchildren. She excelled in preparing her favorite meal, which was reservations. She is survived by her husband Marty, their three children Christy, John, Jason, (Casey) and five grandchildren Abby Taylor, Kaley, Kinsley, James, and Kennedy Kavanaugh. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 6th from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis, In 46250, with funeral services immediately following.
