Gerry A. Huffman

Geraldine (Gerry) Ann Huffman, 87, Indianapolis, passed away October 28, 2018.  She was born June 9, 1931, in Wells County, Indiana to the late Edward and Margaret (Connors) Walsh.

Gerry graduated from Lancaster High School in 1949 and went on to be a book keeper and branch manager for Union State Bank in Carmel, IN. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic church and she loved to play cards with, and cook and bake for her family.  But her biggest joy in life was spending time with her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen (Bill) Campbell and Cyndie (Pablo) Santamaria; five grandchildren, Matthew (Nancy) and Kyle (Kaitlyn) Campbell, Samantha Huffman, Michael and Kendall Santamaria; four great grandchildren, Avery, Isaac, Emma, and Arla Campbell; and a sister, Joan Stern.  She was preceded in passing by her husband of 60 years, Lloyd D. Huffman; daughter, Judy Ann Huffman; two brothers, Edward and Bernard Walsh; and two sisters, Irene Bailey and Mariellen Byerly.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 410 Pearl Street, Cicero.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Sacred Heart Food Pantry or to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be made by visiting flannerbuchanan.com.
