Gerald “Jerry” W. Marcum
80, of Clayton, Indiana, passed peacefully with his wife and sister by his side on June 24, 2022. Jerry was born on January 11, 1942, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Thomas and Beatrice Marcum. He was retired from Allison Transmissions. He was a lifetime member of the Martinsville VFW. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Marcum; twin sister, Jeannie Myers; brother, Donald Marcum; two grandsons and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Linda Marcum; sons, Terrance (Michele) and Willie (Opal) Marcum; sister, Rose Mary Petett and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 4 to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 2:30 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
