Gerald Gordon

82, New Palestine, passed away February 24, 2017. Jerry was born on October 23, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio to the Late Fay Emerson and Thelma Dorothy (Wolfe) Gordon. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a carpenter who started his career as a lather, working his way up to Estimator, and was a member of Local 39L. Jerry and his wife Linda enjoyed wintering in Florida. He loved sports, especially golf, but most of all he adored spending time with his family, supporting them in all of their endeavors.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; his brother Fay Gordon; his first wife, Delores (Bailey) Gordon; and his granddaughter, Nicole Gordon. He is survived by his wife, Linda Geminden-Gordon; children: Wayne Gordon, Kelly Marko, Lynn (Tom) Walker, Tim (Lori) Gordon, and John (Amanda) Gordon; his step-children: Tony (Teresa) Allen and Jeff Allen; his grandchildren: Bryan Ratliff, Brea DeVault, Lindy Stephens, Amanda Stocklin, Jessica Green, Ryan (Nick) Walker, Patrick Walker, Jackson Gordon, Bailey Gordon, Taylor Gordon, Tierra Gordon, Jessica Gordon, Lillian Gordon, Jonathon Gordon, Brian Allen, and Bubba Allen; his great-grandchildren: Joshua, Anna, Mason, Luke, Mason, Morgan, Henry, Charlie, Mya, Jameson, Jorie, Jaxon, and Bexley; and six nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN. Funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m.
