George Michael Leaf

George Michael Leaf, 67, Indianapolis, passed away July 19, 2017 after battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He was born November 27, 1949 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Alwin A. and A. June (Houpt) Leaf. He was the devoted husband of 51 years to Marcia E. (Blackwell) and a loving father and grandfather. He was retired from Ford Motor Company after 38 years of service. He was a New York Yankee’s fan and avid fisherman.
George is survived by his loving wife, Marcia; three sons, James Leaf, Scott (Tracy) Leaf, and Kenny Leaf; one daughter Amy (Thomas) Rapala. 7 Grandchildren: Michael Leaf, Sarah (Joshua) Keene, Cory Rapala, Connor Rapala, James Leaf Jr, and Kyle Leaf. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, three brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be held Wednesday July 26, 2017 from 10-12pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), with funeral services beginning there at 12pm.
