Geneva (Hunley) Duke-Roberts, age 81, of Indianapolis, passed away January 29, 2018. She was born in Lecta, Kentucky on September 26, 1936 to parents, Elbert Royce Hunley and Mary Hunley-Horton. She was a member of Indianapolis Baptist Temple and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Geneva was preceded in death by her first husband, Neal U. Duke; brother, Tommy Hunley; and sister, Louise McCoy. She is suvrived by her loving husband, Richard Roberts; children, Sheila Urbanowich (Charlie), Lisa Hurtley (Darrell) and Jeffrey Duke (Machelle); seven grandchildren: Kyle, Kristopher, Ashley (Jeffrey), Katherine, Rebecca, Ryan and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Charlie Duke; siblings, Lois Nunn (Jack), Marilyn Byers and Elbert Royce Hunley Jr (Martha); and sister-in-law, Janet London.
Friends may call from 4pm until 8pm on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis. Additional calling will be held from 12 Noon until the service time of 1pm on Saturday, February 3, 2018 also at the funeral center. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
