Gavin William Hatheway

13, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 18, 2020. He was born on March 31, 2007 in Putnam County, Indiana.  Gavin attended Robey Elementary School and Chapel Hill 7th & 8th Grade Center.

Gavin was a smart, handsome, loveable young man.  His creativeness and passion was always working overtime no matter what he was doing.  Whether he was playing video games, spending time with his family and friends, or creating his own videos and projects.  His favorite places to travel to were The Great Smoky Mountains, St. Augustine, Florida, and Holiday World & Splashin Safari.  He also loved all of his pets that came into his life over the years. He also enjoyed many different Anime’s.  He once said he’d be sitting in a log cabin in the Smokies someday in the future with all of his pets playing video games and watching videos. Gavin will be missed for his personality, sense of humor, and his ability to light up a room.  Gavin will always be with each and everyone of us that he has touched, and one day we will see him again.

Gavin is survived by his parents, Herb and Rebecca Hatheway; brother Lane Hatheway, and sister Tara Hatheway.  As well as, grandparents, Nolan and Oralene Killebrew, Darlene and Gene Lines, and many aunts and uncles, and cousins.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020,  from 4pm-7pm at Flanner Buchanan – Speedway.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Make-A-Wish, Give Kids the World Village, or Riley Children’s Foundation.
